Pregnancy Health
Pregnancy is a crucial time and requires nutrients more heavily then at any other reproductive stage of life. You want to have stores ready for creation, birth, postpartum, breastfeeding and to keep you sustained. A key role is a healthy menstrual cycle because it sets the stage for a healthy pregnancy. This means healthy hormone balancing, cervical mucus production, endometrial development, formation and function of the placenta. Research suggests that improving nutrient intake before you get pregnant has an even grater impact on pregnancy outcomes than solely changing what you eat during pregnancy. Lets not forget about our male counterparts. Sperm health is just as important to all things related to baby and moms health. This is my area of expertise so this is what most appointments will be revolving around.
